We are heartbroken for all the Maui residents devastated by the wildfires - we said all the prayers and sent all the good vibes - but felt like we needed to do more. so, we collaborated with our soul sisters at @palmbeachwahinesurfclub to create a cozy tee to help raise funds for Lahaina and their people. if you watched any of the videos on social media, the resilience of that community in the face of absolute tragedy is profound and inspiring. it is there that we truly understood the embodiment of the aloha spirit. not just a marketing technique or a term for tourists to say while throwing a shaka sign, but an undefinable essence of being. it is more than kindness and patience, pleasantness and humility, harmony and inner peace and mercy, but all those things when you. have. nothing. 
It is quite literally rising from the ashes and seeing someone else in need, and giving your last sip of water or your only shoes to that person instead of keeping it for yourself.
